for the quarter, that is!
Hello students, staff, and faculty at all three Olympic College branch campuses!
New student? Get registered (not in the library though)!
As we close in on the end of yet another fall quarter, your friendly library staff and faculty wanted to remind you of a few things.
Registration! Yes, it’s time to start thinking about the Winter 2008 Quarter at Olympic College.
We’re all extremely excited about that and just wanted to remind you that there is no access to the Student Entry and Advising Center from the main Haselwood Library. The S.E.A.C. is located to the lower right hand side of the library and you must walk down a set of steps in order to enter the building for advising assistance. We apologize for the inconvenience, but this is just a heads up to save you some time and frustration!
New, new, new!
Next up, please be sure to check out our new books and periodicals shelves.
We always have plenty of books working their way into our college and want you to take advantage of them. Our newest periodicals are housed downstairs and to the right.
We have lots to choose from, so check them out the next time you’re in the library! If you need help finding them, let us know. You can use our Online Public Access Catalog to look up books that might be of interest to you. Gone are the days of the old fashioned paper card catalog!
Our old paper catalog system is currently sitting in storage in the technical services portion of the library. If you need help using our online catalog, swing on by the Information Desk and we’ll be sure to assist you with your query!
We’re here to help so don’t feel like you’re bothering us at all if you have a question that needs answering. That’s what we’re here for!
Snowy Forecast?
Also, it’s important to stay tuned to local news stations as the weather begins to get colder. For school closure information, the Olympic College front page is your best bet for current closure or delay information. We’ll also post to the library blog as long as time and circumstances allow, though the school website and local news stations are your best bet for up-to-date information.
